Project Theme Overview

Women’s roles in society have changed a lot over time, from the beginning and creation of these roles, to the downfall of them. All over the world, in different cultures and civilizations there have been different, yet similar roles in society for women. From women in the earliest civilizations, to women now. On the other hand, there have also been women who have gotten rid of those roles. They, throughout different events and periods in history, worked hard to get rid of those roles.  

Relating to women’s roles in society, women’s rights is also something very important that women have had to fight hard for. From the 19th to early 20th century, many countries allowed women’s rights such as the right to vote. However, it was a long, hard fight that truthfully should have been granted long before it was.
